Vitamin D – Don’t Be Bitter, Be BETTER!

Today’s dose of “Vitamin D” is dedicated to being better than the person you were yesterday. There are times in life in which we will go after things and not be successful at achieving them; a time where we may not make the mark. It could be applying for a job, a competition or simply achieving our personal goals. What happens? We sometimes get angry. We make excuses as to why we didn’t get it. “Oh, no one at my job likes me,” “I didn’t win because they cheated,” or simply “I was too tired and didn’t have enough time.” STOP! Stop making excuses for your shortcomings. Stop being bitter and be better! Search for ways on how you can be better at achieving what ever goals you have set before yourself. It’s not about what others can do for you, but more so what can you do for yourself.

Remember, what happened in the past, happened in the past. No one can stop you, but YOU. Place fear behind you. Place laziness behind you. Place past failures behind you. As Fabolous says, “Only fools trip over something that’s behind them.” Challenge yourself to push harder, work faster and be the best at what you want to do. Strengthen those muscles of courage, wisdom and faith. The next time you find obstacles placed in front of you…just FLEX on them!
