Vitamin D – “It Was All A Dream…”

January 3, 2014

Today’s dose of “Vitamin D” is dedicated to vision. I want you to be able to visualize what ever you want out of life before you actually attain it. Conjure up all of your wildest dreams and smile. The more unrealistic you are, the better. Ordinary people are realistic. However you are not ordinary, you are extraordinary!

One of today’s most famed rappers, Notorious B.I.G. was unrealistic when it came to his dreams. A young man hailing from Bed Stuy, Brooklyn had a dream of being one of Hip Hop’s greatest, “It was all a dream. I used to read Word Up magazine, Salt’n’Pepa and Heavy D up in the limousine. Hangin’ pictures on my wall, every Saturday Rap Attack, Mr. Magic, Marley Marl.” Wow! Can you say vision board? No one would have thought that this dropout who later went to live a life of crime would amount to anything. However, he didn’t wait for anyone’s permission to be great. For anyone to crown him as one of the greatest rappers to ever live. He created it for himself!

Understand that if you can conceive it, you can achieve it. No, it’s not going to happen overnight. No, it’s not going to be easy. But you can believe it will be worth it.

Now let’s be unrealistic!
