Vitamin D – “Seeing Is Deceiving, Dreaming Is Believing!”

December 29, 2013

Today’s dose of “Vitamin D” is dedicated to faith. Faith is having the complete trust or confidence in someone or something. Who better to have faith in, than yourself? It’s interesting that often times than not, we are so quick to believe in someone else rather than ourselves. Why is that? Why is it that we are so quick to believe that the next person is great? That the next person can be a doctor, lawyer, fashion stylist, media personality or superstar? Why not you? Who are you not to be great? You must have faith!

Often times we rely on what we can “see” to determine our true potential. However, it is our vision that is incomparable. As a great speaker, Raphael Gordon, once said, “Your location is not your destination.” Just because no one talks like you, walks like you or looks like you, doesn’t mean anything is wrong with you. Just because someone told you no, doesn’t mean the next person will not say yes. Just because it has not been done before, doesn’t mean that it cannot be done.

In Jessie J’s hit single, “Who You Are,” she challenges you to be just that…who YOU are. I will not promise that it will be easy because “sometimes it’s hard to follow your heart, but tears don’t mean you’re losing.” Honey, they’re just cleaning your eyes so that you can have greater vision.

Got faith?
